Human or android - who can tell?

Because the music clip supports the title song in the movie “Familiar enemy”, the central topic is artificial intelligence. Emma plays a double role in the clip, with her human and robotic selves competing with each other. These two roles differ in their  behaviour - as a human she is emotional and full of passion, as an android,- cold and robotic. The roles differ visually as well. When the android takes over, a pattern of a circuit shows up on her skin and her mechanic eyes start to glow, too. These robotic signs appear more frequently and gradually cover up larger area of her skin.  

Even though a layman would think that the circuit was “drawn” on Emma’s face and body, it was not as simple in reality. We had to prepare a 3D model of her head and upper body (approximately in proportions of real Emma) and the circuit pattern was projected on this model. This way we achieved that the lines bent precisely according to the contours of a real body. The biggest challenges were the huge numbers of effect shots and mainly the task how to ensure that the circuit pattern deforms exactly as her face when she sings. We are glad that finally we made it, and according to the number of YouTube views and positive comments, it looks like we made it with success.
